The pre-school is run by a committee of volunteer parents who are elected at the Annual General Meeting. They oversee the documentation, finances, fund raising and the staff responsible for the daily operation of the group.
Meetings are held at regular intervals and all parents are encouraged to join the Committee or to offer ideas and support. Southwater Village Hall Pre-School has adopted the Pre-School Learning Alliance constitution (copies are available).

We need both committee members and a fund raising team
Committee 2011-2012 |
We are looking for parents to join the committee that oversees the running of the Pre-school. This is the only preschool/playgroup in the village that is organised on a community not-for profit basis as a registered charity and run by parents for the benefit of the children. The next AGM is on November the 10th in the Village Hall at 7.30pm. |
Fundraising Team |
We are looking for new parents to join the fund raising team. This team plays a vital role in raising funds for new equipment and resources so that our fees can be kept as low as possible. Please let Heather Clarke know if you are able to help with fund raising. |
